The Second Baptist Church Community Development Corporation (SB, Inc.
was formed in 1996 through the vision of Pastor McDonald. It was
incorporated in May of 1997 and received its federal tax exemption status in
February 1998.
The Mission of Second Baptist Community Development Corporation, Inc. is a commitment to
enhance ourselves, our communities and well being through spiritual, physical
and psychological development in education, training and community resources.
The Purpose of Second Baptist Community Development Corporation, Inc. shall be to provide
educational resources, technical and vocational training and support, employment
opportunities, low to moderate and senior citizen housing, early childhood care
and education, community resources and community recreational facilities and
opportunities that will enrich and enhance the lives of our city and
community based upon Christian values, ethics, morals and biblical principles.
The Second Baptist Community Development Corporation currently operates the following programs/projects:
